My impressive moment

At the end of March, my friends and I had a chance to visit Southern part of Thailand. There are 3 of my classmates, my friend’s mother and sister, and I. We spent 6 days and 5 nights celebrating our high-school graduation there. It was the first time my parents allowed me to travel with my friends. We went to Suratthani by plane where my friend’s hometown is. After that we went to Krabi, Phuket and Nakorn Sri Thammarat. In the south of Thailand, there are many interesting traditions and cultures different from Bangkok where I live. I hardly understood what the native people said. I had tried many local foods there which are unfamiliar to me. We went to the water falls, the beaches and the temples. At the temple, we prayed and wished that we could enter the university we wanted and we donated some money to renovate the monastery. We spent a great moment there singing songs, swimming at the beach, and playing lots of games together. My friend’s mother was a very kind and funny person and she always joined our games. She also admired me that I looked pretty with my sunglasses and that made me really happy. I would never forget that moment and I am looking forward to visiting there again real soon.

My favorite dessert “TAB-TIM-KROB”

Tab-Tim-Krob is one of Thai desserts which are very tasty and colorful. Tab-Tim-Krob has its shape similar to Pomegranate. It made from small pieces of water chestnut mixed with the flour and served with sweet coconut milk. When I was young, my mother always made Tab-Tim-Krob in weekend and I was her helper in the kitchen. We can add many colors as we want and we can also put some pieces of jackfruit in it as well. Now I’m going to tell you how to make it.


1.Peel the water chestnuts, boil them, cut them into small pieces and soak them in colorful sweet syrup for 15 minutes.

2.Put them out of the syrup and mix them with the flour.


3.Boil the water, put those pieces in to the water, wait until they float and ladle them out.

4. Boil the coconut milk with water, add some sugar and salt as you want. [you may add some pieces of jackfruit, palm candy and coconut]


5. Serve them with ice.

Green tea for Health!

Nowadays, one of the most popular drinks is Green tea. Many people may think that green tea originates in Japan but in fact it does from China. Thai people always drink green tea with Japanese food because it’s available in Japanese restaurants. The best-Known brand in Thailand is Oishi. There are many favors for us to choose e.g. pure green tea, green tea with honey &lemon, green tea with white malt, green tea with Barley, and green tea with fruit juice etc. It also served as a hot drink so we can have it with some biscuits. Green tea not only gives us a delicious taste but also brings lots of benefits to our health. It decreases the cholesterol rate, protects us from cancer and AIDS, helps lose weight and make our skin healthy. Green tea is also used as beauty products, cleaner products, and used as organic fertilizer. There are many more advantages of green tea I haven’t mentioned yet. Next time if you guys want to get a drink please try green tea and you will know how good for health it is.

A Brand new Perfume "G(r)ance"

I have thought that if I have my own business what product will I produce. May be drinks, dessert, women shoes, etc. But the product that is the most I want to produce is perfume. I want to find something that can bring out charm of women because I know what women want. My product’s name is “G(r)ance”. It has 2 meanings in this name. First “Grance” is from fragrance that means sweet smell. Certainly that everyone who buys perfume wants the great smell for themselves. And another “Gance” is form elegance. It mean beautiful and graceful. My future customers are women whose age is between 25 to 40 because they can afford for my product. The women like thing that is unique. Then I design my product’s logo for attracting them. I choose orange to be my logo color. I think it have many reasons in this color such as sexy, luxury, and attrative. I think the reasons they use for choosing perfume are price, packaging, and smell. The survey said that some woman buys perfume not for using but for collecting. Then my marketing strategy is to product limited version every year for collecting and the original versions for using. If my plan can be true, I hope it will be succeed and I hope you will like my product.

My weekend

In this entry, I will talk about my past weekend. I went on a trip with my whole family. We meet together every year. The destination of this trip is Cha-um. We left from our house early. My neighbor told my father that you can use the local road for avoiding traffic jam (It had a big concert at Hua Hin) and along this road you can see the beach. On the way, we tried to find the road that my neighbor has told us. In a few minute, we found it. We went along this road, tried to find the beach. But why we can’t see any beach? I can see only salt-pans. So exciting, I know that salt derive from sea water but I have never seen it before. I took photos of it. Many farmers were working very hard. They used the strange tractors (wheels made from PVC pipe) to level the fields. Few minute later, we arrived the resort about 2.00 PM. My aunt reserved the resort that closes to the beach. I and my cousins aren’t enjoyed the beach so much because the sea is too dirty to swim. But my family enjoyed meeting together. Although It’s not so a nice trip but we’re happy to meet each other.

Does technology change faster than people's mind-set?

Nowadays, the technology is moving faster than we think. As I know, there are many technologies that are useful for many people. But some invention is not as popular as others because of many factors such as shape, cost, benefit, etc. Pocket PC is one of the inventions that not many people use. Its functions are similar to computer’s. Pocket PC is compact but not convenient to use, small screen, and small keyboard. And its price is similar to laptop or computer. That’s why many people choose to buy a computer or laptop more than Pocket PC.

In contrast, the technology that is very popular among many people is mobile phone. You can see evidently that almost every people have it. It is convenient for communication and looks fashionable. I think each invention is popular or not isn’t relating to people’s mind-set but it’s about popularity. And I don't think that people's mind-set changes slowly.

How do mosquitoes suck blood?

Did you know that the living things you see everyday have very interesting features? Yes, mosquito is what I’m talking about. It’s a common insect of every family. As you know, mosquitoes bite our skin, suck our blood and leave us itchiness. They suck blood by piercing your skin with their tube like a mouth called stinger and inject their saliva into your blood which prevents clotting in the area of the bite. Later, your body has a small allergic reaction to the saliva. Like any allergic reaction, your body can get used to it over time, so children often have worse reactions to mosquito bites than others do, and if you travel to a new place with different kinds of mosquitoes, you may get worse reactions there than you do at home. In fact, males typically feed on nectar and plant juices, the female needs to obtain nutrients from a blood meal before she can produce eggs. Their life span can be 1-2weeks, so during that time female mosquitoes can mate with males and give birth to their babies. Next time where ever you are, try not to be their victims!

Segway For Golf ! {5}

Segway, a revolutional vehicle that is very popular among workers, shoppers, and tourists can be used for other ways. What do you think that the design of Segway can be used for? Do you think its functions can be used for sports? Yes!,I think golf is the most suitable sport to use Segway. Every golf course has long distance that golfers have to walk along to each section. In a golf course consist of 18 holes. And it's more convenient to bring golfbag by themselve. It's take shorter time and less tiredness so it takes benefit for competitors. Golf cart can be substituted by Segway.

Ordinary National Educational Test [ o-net ] 2010

I read article on o-net scores of Thai students. It said the averages of o-net scores of Mathayom-six students are decreasing. It is lower than last year. Some subject like Social, English, or Art, the average scores are lower than 40 of 100 because the form of the test was changed to be more difficult. This year when o-net scores were announced, it hasn’t show the average score of all students who do the test because it was very low and they afraid that many parents and students will protest the o-net organization. Many parents are very concern about the score because it’s very important for the Admission.

I think this article is correct about the score decreasing because the organization that creates the test has adjusted the test form to be more difficult. And I think if the test is too difficult for the students, it can’t evaluate the student for the wise. It’s measured by the fate of each student. I am one of the students who have tested the new o-net. And I know that some subject is too difficult for the student. Ordinary National Education Test (o-net), it is the fundamental test for all students all curriculums. It should not be too difficult. The organization that creates the o-net should adjust to the simple one.
