Does technology change faster than people's mind-set?

Nowadays, the technology is moving faster than we think. As I know, there are many technologies that are useful for many people. But some invention is not as popular as others because of many factors such as shape, cost, benefit, etc. Pocket PC is one of the inventions that not many people use. Its functions are similar to computer’s. Pocket PC is compact but not convenient to use, small screen, and small keyboard. And its price is similar to laptop or computer. That’s why many people choose to buy a computer or laptop more than Pocket PC.

In contrast, the technology that is very popular among many people is mobile phone. You can see evidently that almost every people have it. It is convenient for communication and looks fashionable. I think each invention is popular or not isn’t relating to people’s mind-set but it’s about popularity. And I don't think that people's mind-set changes slowly.

How do mosquitoes suck blood?

Did you know that the living things you see everyday have very interesting features? Yes, mosquito is what I’m talking about. It’s a common insect of every family. As you know, mosquitoes bite our skin, suck our blood and leave us itchiness. They suck blood by piercing your skin with their tube like a mouth called stinger and inject their saliva into your blood which prevents clotting in the area of the bite. Later, your body has a small allergic reaction to the saliva. Like any allergic reaction, your body can get used to it over time, so children often have worse reactions to mosquito bites than others do, and if you travel to a new place with different kinds of mosquitoes, you may get worse reactions there than you do at home. In fact, males typically feed on nectar and plant juices, the female needs to obtain nutrients from a blood meal before she can produce eggs. Their life span can be 1-2weeks, so during that time female mosquitoes can mate with males and give birth to their babies. Next time where ever you are, try not to be their victims!

Segway, a revolutional vehicle that is very popular among workers, shoppers, and tourists can be used for other ways. What do you think that the design of Segway can be used for? Do you think its functions can be used for sports? Yes!,I think golf is the most suitable sport to use Segway. Every golf course has long distance that golfers have to walk along to each section. In a golf course consist of 18 holes. And it's more convenient to bring golfbag by themselve. It's take shorter time and less tiredness so it takes benefit for competitors. Golf cart can be substituted by Segway.

Ordinary National Educational Test [ o-net ] 2010

I read article on o-net scores of Thai students. It said the averages of o-net scores of Mathayom-six students are decreasing. It is lower than last year. Some subject like Social, English, or Art, the average scores are lower than 40 of 100 because the form of the test was changed to be more difficult. This year when o-net scores were announced, it hasn’t show the average score of all students who do the test because it was very low and they afraid that many parents and students will protest the o-net organization. Many parents are very concern about the score because it’s very important for the Admission.

I think this article is correct about the score decreasing because the organization that creates the test has adjusted the test form to be more difficult. And I think if the test is too difficult for the students, it can’t evaluate the student for the wise. It’s measured by the fate of each student. I am one of the students who have tested the new o-net. And I know that some subject is too difficult for the student. Ordinary National Education Test (o-net), it is the fundamental test for all students all curriculums. It should not be too difficult. The organization that creates the o-net should adjust to the simple one.
