Nowadays, the technology is moving faster than we think. As I know, there are many technologies that are useful for many people. But some invention is not as popular as others because of many factors such as shape, cost, benefit, etc. Pocket PC is one of the inventions that not many people use. Its functions are similar to computer’s. Pocket PC is compact but not convenient to use, small screen, and small keyboard. And its price is similar to laptop or computer. That’s why many people choose to buy a computer or laptop more than Pocket PC.
In contrast, the technology that is very popular among many people is mobile phone. You can see evidently that almost every people have it. It is convenient for communication and looks fashionable. I think each invention is popular or not isn’t relating to people’s mind-set but it’s about popularity. And I don't think that people's mind-set changes slowly.
Hi, good entry, although I think you could make your point a bit more clearly about mind-set. Are you saying that Pocket PCs are not popular because they're too expensive, or because people are unwilling to try this new invention?
